Yale
Pharmaceutical Research Institute has a strong research
pipeline that is supported by the advanced discovery and development
capabilities of the company. In total, we have more than 132
ongoing projects, with some 41 new chemical entities in the
research and development (R&D) pipeline. Alongside the work
on new products, Yale Pharmaceutical Research Institute will
continue to research all the ways in which our existing range
can be used or improved. Through active product lifecycle
management, we aim to maximise the full potential of all of
our compounds.
Major
research targets include:
- To
deliver more than 18 candidate drugs annually by 2007
- To
double the success rate of delivering new drugs from development
to 23% by 2008
- To
deliver three medically important new products annually
in the future
